DT Project-Altered Notebook

This is the 2nd project for us DT's over at scrapbooking & crafting friends. It was to alter a notebook. It was really pretty simple, all I did was started with a pink notebook, added black cardstock. The circles were cut out with my silhouette. The flowers were all handcut. The titles were premade already, so I just added some ribbon and some doodles(border) , thats it! Tfl

100% Boy...a little dirt never hurt

I did this page using papers from the May kit at Pages in Time website, I love these papers, the kit is just full of goodies! Great prices too...what more could we ask for! Anyways this is a pic of my son when he was 4, like I said Im digging deep into the picture stash. I paper-pieced the owl, used buttons for its eyes, made the tree like a lollipop flower, doodled the border, added metal photo corners above the title. Distressed and inked edges. Tfl

You...Are Crazy!

Just a crazy pic of my other half! He is always doing something crazy, here he cut off his pj bottoms (cause they shrunk) and put them on his head, and danced around the kitchen! lol He is sticking his tongue out in this pic, hard to see. This is for a challenge at 52 sketches in 52 weeks, great site...check it out!

Pool baby

this is my son when he was a baby, he's 19 now! Yes, Im digging deep into the picture stash!!!...lol I used dcwv photostack paper (water paper) and basic grey marrakech, foam thickers for title. I made the pinwheel flower, very simple to do, start off with a 3"x3" piece of cardstock or paper, cut from each corner inwards about 1/3 towards centre, fold and adhere...thats it and it looks so cool! Tfl Kelly =)

Graduation

This is a page I did about my son's senior year of highschool, was very simple, used a paper punch, corrogated paper, and the title and quote are stickers. I also inked the journalling strips. Tfl

I have done 1 page in 2 about 2 weeks, and its driving me crazy! I managed to find the link to the instructions for the post it note flower on my 'spring' page. Sorry it took so long, and I hope to be back soon on a daily basis! Miss you all!

U2R Growing Up Way Too Fast

this is a pic of my two youngest, and yes, I have used the pic before. I used all basic grey marrakech papers and letters, love 'em!!! I handcut out the flowers, and vines. The blue circles on the big black circle were created with a puch, then I added the blue paper underneath to show through. I doodled the border around the page, tfl Kelly

Im Back!!!

So sorry for being MIA for a few days, but I have been having problems with my shoulder, and sitting here does not help it at all! I managed to get a page done a couple days ago so I will share that in a bit. Have a great day everyone!!! Kelly

This is a pic of the hailstorm from may 9th of this year! Such a cool pic! I handcut the flourish out, added the pink on the flowers of it. I added 3 different ribbons. The 'rose' flower is made out of post it notes, then inked. It takes 8 post it notes to make this flower, soo easy though. I matted the pic first with pink, then added black on an angle. I doodled the border around the page and around the pic! Title is sticker letters.

This is for a Dt Call, it was based on a sketch. She is growing up way too fast! I distressed the edge of the green paper with scissors, cut the circles out on my silhouette. The yellow flower I made out of the same 'raffia' (not exactly sure of proper name) I just folded them over and gathered them at the cut edge and formed flower, added a couple smaller ones for the center of flower. The yellow strips, I went a little crazy with the punch, punching out randomly. The zigzag border and title are sticker letters Tfl

Rain Dance

This is one of my furbabies, Lucy. Every time it rains, she has to go out and 'dance' in it! I managed to get a few pic's this time, well one good one anyways. She is moving around so fast...as you can see in the 2nd and 3rd pics, they are kind of blurry. All the title, clouds, and arrows are all wood shapes painted. As well as the background I painted peach, under the pics and mat. All dots are paint too. Tfl

Grad-Limo Invite

My youngest daughter is graduating from grade 8 next month, for those of you that do not know that. She called me from her friends house lastnight(monday) in a panic! So my first response was how many....18!!!! Omg!!! I am already late at getting my mothers 65th birthday invites done, now I am to give up another day for yet another project!...lol Of course I said yes! :)
Anyway this is what I did on such short notice, hope you like 'em. Oh they are the school colours too :)

Happy MaMa's Day!!!!

I am just stopping in here for a minute, to say Happy MaMa's Day to all the mother's out there!! I hope each and every one of you have a fabulous day!!!

Thank you card

This is a card done for a challenge at scrapbook.com We had to make non-traditional flowers. Mine are made from wood shapes, I painted them and added glitter. The stems are from artificial flower stems I cut to size. The leaves I painted with the opposite end of the paintbrush as well as the dots. I wrote on the greeting with a yellow glitter pen, then went over it in black tfl

Homework Headaches

I cannot seem to get a good pic of this no matter how hard I try. It just doesn't look the same here as IRL. Anyways its all basic grey marrakech papers except for the white, which I inked with orange. Used a border punch along the top and bottom of page . Cut the papers to make photo corners, the title is stickers and flower is folded in half with a bit of paper lace added and a brad holding it on the page. Pic's are of my youngest one doing her homework...doesn't look like she's having fun eh? Tfl :)
